The Andrew Grene Foundation Riders

We will bike up and down the hills of the English countryside. We go right by Simons boarding school. Then assuming we survive the 5,000 feet of elevation on the English leg of the journey, we embark on a ferry crossing. The good news is we take the ferry rather than the tunnel. Because the tunnel only takes 30 min, but the ferry crossing takes 4 hours. As far as I am concerned that is a 4 hour rest break!

Once across the water we will bike by the oh so tempting vineyards, picturesque villages and open countryside that France has to offer before entering the final stage of the ride - arriving to a celebratory finish at the Arc de Triomphe in the heart of Paris just like the riders of the Tour de France. At this point, unlike the tour de France riders, we will probably be just about dead.

Bike Ride From Paris to London

Well I suppose every once in while you need to do something a little crazy …… so how about riding a bike from London to Paris, 234 miles in 3 days for a great cause. Day 1 is 70 miles, day 2 is 64 miles, and day 3 is 100 miles. We depart London on September 8th.
And I only have 7 weeks left to get in good enough shape to make it. Rest assured we are training like crazy.
