Our personal Andrew Grene Foundation Mission

For us it is all about the kids.

It is a simple equasion Educating 240 Kids for a year = $20,000
Building a school in post-earthquake Haiti is no small undertaking. And getting it complete in only 3 months is a bit of a miracle. Perhaps I'll get a chance to fill you in more on that part of the story later. But suffice it to say all funds raised by the Foundation went into the schools construction.

So Simon Mike and I (Michael) decided to raise $20,000 to fund the first years operating costs and see that 240 kids get their shot at an education. And so we decided to do the London to Paris Ride as an Andrew Grene Charity ride. ...and don't worry we also made our contributions to the Stroke Association who is putting on the ride.

So if you want to see how we are doing raising the money feel free to go to:

and you might also want to consider making a contribution.

If you want to contribute think about it in terms of how much you will contribute/ mile we ride. And remember our London to Paris objective is 234 miles. So.....

$0.25 per mile is $58.50
$0.50 per mile is $117
$1.00 per mile is $234
$2.00 per mile is $468
etc...

Just send me an email and tell me you level of committment and we'll ask you for a check after the ride.

Here are two serious guys making the pitch to some prospective contributors. This is just at the point where we say so are you going to contribute, and...then we shut up and wait for the prospect to respond. Could you really say no to these two guys? (Note the bottle of wine on the table to loosen up the prospective contributor. We find a good Bordeaux produces higher contributions

And here is Charlie one of our contributors (post the lunch above)
...note the fitting old French Car in the background.
